In 1979 Bob Marley wrote these words, lyrics in perhaps his best song, Redemption Song.

 “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind”

Those words were taken from a speech given by Marcus Garvey in 1937 the full quote from the speech was:

“We are going to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery because whilst others might free the body, none but ourselves can free the mind. Mind is your only ruler, sovereign. The man who is not able to develop and use his mind is bound to be the slave of the other man who uses his mind…”

Although these words spoken 75 years ago, and in reference to a somewhat different struggle I believe they still are relevant today, perhaps more so.

Does Obama Want the USA to Fail?

This video making the rounds on You Tube certainly implies that President Obama’s policies are to blame for much of the economic turmoil in the States.

The climate change true believers will no doubt dismiss this video without a thought, even though, there is growing evidence that man made climate change is bullshit.

This week, in an interview with mnsbc.com,  James Lovelock the godfather of global warming stated that “The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing,”

Lovelock is one of the world’s most honoured scientists and environmentalists. He went on to say “We thought we knew 20 years ago. That led to some alarmist books — mine included — because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened. The climate is doing its usual tricks. There’s nothing much really happening yet…The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time … it (the temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising.”

6 New Photoshop CS6 Features

Photoshop CS6 is in beta testing and from all reports it is fantastic well worth the upgrade. A huge amount of improvements and new features, including camera raw and video editing. A couple of weeks ago I posted a video on the new content aware features this week I found another video that has 6 more new features.
